Mountaineering Course Climb

Kilimanjaro Adventures is proud to team with Sierra Wilderness Seminars to provide trips that include training and tips from a professionally trained American guide.

Sierra Wilderness Seminars

This isn't just a climb, it's a mountaineering course.

Join this group and learn about:

  • Diamox and proper usage
  • Altitude adjustment and tips to adjust faster and safer
  • Hydration and other critical success factors
  • Rest steps and other techniques to use as little energy as possible to make it to the top

If you are using Kilimanjaro as your first high altitude ascent and plan to do more, this is the option for you. Your guide is certified by the Red Cross as an emergency first responder, wilderness EMT, and has CPR and advanced first aid credentials. Face it. These guys are pros, and will turn your climb into a mountaineering course.

Each trip is 14 full days on the ground and includes 1 rest day, a 7-day summit ascent, and a 5-day wildlife safari to the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. Lodging before and after your climb is at our private hotel in Moshi, Tanzania. Everything is included! All you pay for is your drinks and food in Moshi, as well as your airfare.
