Suggested Itineraries

Below are a few suggested itineraries for you to consider when deciding how long to go for and which parks to visit.

We offer a number of different packages for you to explore the exotic beauty and wildlife of East Africa.   However, if one of our set packages does not meet your specific needs, hakuna matata (no problem).  We can easily customize any of these packages for you.

Pricing is based on 2 people/double occupancy.

3 day/ 2 night Safari:

Day 1  Lake Manyara and the great Rift wall

Day 2  Ngorongoro Crater and the resident rhinos and lions

Day 3  Tarangire game drive

This is a great way to get an intro to what Africa has to offer if you have limited time.

Depending on the time of year you go, you may need more time to find the wildebeest migration.

4 day/ 3 night Safari:

Day 1  Lake Manyara and the great Rift wall

Day 2-3 The Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park

Day 4  Ngorongoro Crater and the resident rhinos and lions

This is the most popular itinerary You see a number of different environments and tons of different animals.  And each day we only had to drive a few hours to each location.

Males protect the pride while females are responsible for hunting.

5 day/ 4 night Safari:

Day 1  Lake Manyara and the great Rift wall

Day 2-3 The Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park

Day 4  Ngorongoro Crater and the resident rhinos and lions

Day 5  Tarangire game drive

This is highly recommended if you are coming during the dry season.  You'll see the big parks, and have a great chance to see "the big 5" and more

6 days/ 5 night Safari:

Day 1  Lake Manyara and the great Rift wall

Day 2-3 The Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park

Day 4  Stop at Olduvai Gorge; the “cradle of mankind”

Day 5  Ngorongoro Crater and the resident rhinos and lions

Day 6  Tarangire game drive

Olduvai Gorge is really interesting; especially if you're a closet archeologist.  You really get the feel that this is where it all began over the course of this trip.

 7 days/ 6 night Safari:

Day 1  Tarangire game drive

Day 2  Lake Manyara and the great Rift wall

Day 3  The Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park

Day 4  Further into the Serengeti to the wooded Lobo region in the North

Day 5  Stop at Olduvai Gorge; the “cradle of mankind”

Day 6  Ngorongoro Crater and the resident rhinos and lions

Day 7  Mto Wa Mbu for mini shopping, lunch and return

If you are in Africa in November you MUST do this trip.  The great migration is coming out of the Maasai Mara and into the Northern area of the Serengeti.  This trip is long enough to get you that far North without spending all day in a jeep.
