The African Walking Company is a Tanzanian-based outfitter with a good reputation. But you will have trouble booking with them directly. Most likely you’ll end up booking with one of our international agents like Peak Planet.

Outfitter Reviews
How I Rate This Outfitter : ★★★★★
We did a private trip for 4 people earlier this year with Peak Planet. We were all extremely satisfied with the service we received – everyone was great. The guides and assistants are so helpful on the mountain with their advice, encouragement, explanations and even carrying our stuff once in a while when we struggled. The food, equipment, and hotel accommodations were also above expectations. Really recommend using these guys.
How I Rate This Outfitter : ★★★★★
I climbed with Peak Planet in October on the 6 day Rongai route. It was an amazing experience. 12 of 12 people made it to the summit for the most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever witnessed. I can’t say enough about the guides and assistant guides and porters, who comprised such an unbelievable support team and took care of us through the expedition. One of the best companies on the mountain from what I hear and I can see why.
