Adventure make you sick?

You don't want to spend your vacation here

When most people think about Africa they tend to worry about bad water and malaria. Should you? Yes, and no. Both represent a real concern that should be taken seriously. But if you take a few minor precautions you can avoid any problems with both. And by the way, most places tourist stay already do a great job of protecting you from these issues. The bigger problem is in the smaller, local communities. So what do you do about it? Outside Magazine just did a great piece on how to manage health risks when traveling to the far corners of the world (like Tanzania). They covered malaria, diarrhea,  and even dog bites (probably less risky). Don't let these minor problems stand between you and the adventure of a lifetime.  Take the time to understand the issues and take some minor precautions and you should be fine.
