would like to take this opportunity to recommend Original Trails as a responsible travel company. Aaron McCourtie and his company did a fantastic job organizing our trip up Kilimanjaro. The trip was the perfect blend of multiple African experiences and adventures in one package. We climbed to Uhuru Peak successfully, saw the sunset between the clouds at just under 20,000 feet, which was one of the most exhilarating and transformational experiences of my lifetime, and that was only the beginning of the trip. We also, visited and donated a year’s worth of supplies to a local school in IIkurot, as well as, visited several villages while on safari. Everywhere we traveled our group of 26 individuals made a contribution to the community that we visited. This added significant value to our trip and was one element to my mind which set Original Trails apart from any other tour company with an “Eco” or “Green” bent. To top it all off, in doing the climb our group raised over ¼ of a million dollars for Multiple Sclerosis research and everyone in the group trained for months beforehand achieving a new level of physical fitness. I would and often do, recommend Aaron and Original Trails, to anyone looking for the ultimate travel experience. The trips that his company design, coordinate and deliver without fail, are win-win-win-win-win. I can’t think of a better way to travel. No exaggeration.
